Built on open standards

Every Modelia image ships with C2PA Content Credentials, marked for the EU AI Act.

  • Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity (C2PA)
  • EU Artificial Intelligence Act

Our commitments

  • Built for the EU AI Act, through C2PA

Since August 2026, AI-generated images published in the EU have to carry a machine-readable marker showing they were made with AI. Modelia handles that part for you.

Every image we generate ships with Content Credentials — the C2PA standard backed by Adobe, Google, Microsoft, OpenAI, Meta, Sony and Canon. It is a signed record that travels with the file and shows how the image was made. Your team publishes as normal, and the disclosure comes attached.

  • We never train on your data

Your uploads, your prompts, your generations — none of it is used to train our models, and none of it is passed to a model provider for training. Nothing you create inside Modelia makes anyone else's results better.

This is a commitment we hold ourselves to contractually, not a setting you have to find and switch off.

  • Your work is never shared with another brand

What you upload and what you generate belongs to you alone. We do not pool customer assets, we do not make one brand's references, styles or archive available to another, and no other Modelia customer can see or draw on your work.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers on training, data sharing, Content Credentials and the EU AI Act.

Does Modelia train its AI models on my images?

No. Uploads, prompts and generated images are never used to train Modelia's models, and are never shared with a model provider for training purposes.

Can another Modelia customer see or use my images?

No. Your uploads and generations are available only to you and the people you invite into your workspace. We do not pool customer data or make one brand's work available to another.

What are Content Credentials?

Content Credentials are a signed record attached to an image showing how it was made — including whether AI was involved. They follow the C2PA standard, an open specification backed by Adobe, Google, Microsoft, OpenAI, Meta, Sony, Canon and others. Because the record is cryptographically signed, any tampering breaks it.

Does the EU AI Act apply to AI-generated product images?

Yes. Transparency rules for AI-generated content became applicable across the EU in August 2026. They require synthetic images to be marked in a machine-readable format, with a further deadline of 2 December 2026 for systems that were already on the market. Images generated with Modelia are marked automatically.

Do I have to label AI images on my website?

The machine-readable marking obligation sits with the provider of the AI system, which is us. Additional disclosure duties can apply to you as the publisher, particularly for imagery depicting a real person. Worth a conversation with your legal team about your specific use.
